ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Business Analyst with FDM, you will undergo industry-specific training and continue your career journey as an FDM consultant by working for one of the top financial institutions in Canada.
A Regulatory Business Analyst will:
- Work with business stakeholders to understand and clarify requirements from a Risk, Regulation and Compliance perspective
- Translate requirements/business stories into acceptance criteria so that it is readily understood by the developers
- Facilitate refinement sessions to give story points and explain the tickets
- Engage with stakeholders to have correct/enough inputs to the team

About You
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 12-month career break
- Ideally 5+ years of previous Business Analyst or similar working experience in financial services or in the Risk Regulation and & Compliance sector
- Eligibility to work in Canada without visa sponsorship
- Able to commit to work for FDM for a minimum of 2 years after training period
- A detail-oriented individual with the ability to forecast and communicate data
- Maintaining, writing, and documenting business rules/error messaging
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, agile environment
- A strong understanding of BA responsibilities and requirements management
- Strong verbal, written and analytical skills
- Bilingualism in French and English

At the start of the program, you will receive 12-weeks of instructor-led and project-based training in agile software engineering and mainframe legacy technology development. The training is carried out by our experienced FDM Academy trainers and will take place virtually before you start with this client.
This is a full-time role, where you will return to work as a senior software engineer with mainframe legacy technology capability.
Your employment with FDM will include the full-funded training and compensation for your time working at TD as part of their team as an FDM employee. After your two years with TD, you have the opportunity to transition permanently as a TD employee, subject to opportunity!

- Previous software engineering, development, and technology experience
- Previous experience with DBA, SQL and/or Unix
