The company empowers users to generate real-time analytical reports through SQL queries, emphasizing speed in managing escalating data volumes. Enterprises globally, including Lyft, Sony, IBM, GitLab, Twilio, HubSpot, and many more, rely on ClickHouse Cloud. It is available through open-source or on AWS, GCP, Azure, and Alibaba.

NOTE: this position can be remote anywhere within the United States.

ClickHouse is looking to hire a Product Manager to join our ClickPipes team, focusing on integrations with streaming sources like Kafka, Confluent, Redpanda, object storage systems like S3 and GCS, and other new sources. • Lead the iterative evolution of ClickPipes — for example, identifying the next high-priority connector based on customer and field research and so on.
  • Conduct product planning exercises every few months to provide clear direction to engineering
  • Set iterative business goals and align all stakeholders to pursue them with ownership and urgency

Customer Onboarding and Supporting the ClickHouse field:

  • Work closely with strategic enterprise customers to ensure their success
  • Establish a continuous feedback loop so customer insights inform the product
  • Conduct periodic enablement of the field teams such as Sales, Solutions Architects, and Support on ClickPipes features

Engage with ClickHouse User Community:

  • Drive product, deep-technical, and thought leadership blogs about ClickPipes across various communities
  • Represent ClickHouse to speak at and attend conferences, developer-oriented industry events, webinars, and other customer-facing activities
  • Maintain a presence on social media (LinkedIn, X, Hacker News, Reddit) to keep the momentum and excitement high around ClickHouse’s integration efforts across different communities

What you bring along:

  • Knowledgeable about data engineering markets - data warehousing, data analytics, data science, business intelligence, and observability
  • Previous experience with ClickHouse or related OLAP technologies, including confirmed SQL skills
  • Passionate about improving the ecosystem of developer-related integrations (language clients, SDKs, connectors) into features that are powerful and easy to use
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to influence multiple stakeholders without direct authority
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity and evolving based on business needs
  • The seniority will be determined based on the interview process and discussions with the team

Bonus Points for:

  • Entrepreneurial spirit with a track record for delivering results in fast-moving environments
  • Experience effectively working remotely in a global, distributed organization
  • Previous contributions to open source projects

All Fingerprint recruiting email communications will always come from the @fingerprint.com domain. Any outreach claiming to be from Fingerprint via other sources should be ignored.

Offers vary depending on, but not limited to, relevant experience, education, certifications/licenses, skills, training, and market conditions.

Due to regulatory and security reasons, there's a small number of countries where we cannot have Fingerprint teammates based. Additionally, because Fingerprint is an all-remote company and people can join our workforce from almost any country, we do not sponsor visas. Fingerprint teammates need to be authorized to work from their home location.

We are dedicated to creating an inclusive work environment for everyone. We embrace and celebrate the unique experiences, perspectives and cultural backgrounds that each employee brings to our workplace. Fingerprint strives to foster an environment where our employees feel respected, valued and empowered, and our team members are at the forefront in helping us promote and sustain an inclusive workplace. We highly encourage people from underrepresented groups in tech to apply.

Enterprise Sales Engineer

 •
Metronome
Series B
51-100

Metronome is the leading usage-based billing platform built for modern software companies. We help teams launch products faster, iterate on pricing quickly, and deliver a first-class billing experience—all with speed, control, and confidence.

TP7V
xFI9
p1w8

About the Role

--------------

The Sales Engineering team at Metronome is a technical group that sits at the intersection of sales, growth, product, and R&D. In simple terms, we own the technical side of the customer lifecycle all the way from the very first discovery call through demos, POC, technical scoping, and handover to our post-sales groups.

As a member of the Sales Engineering team, you’ll primarily be focused on bringing on new enterprise customers. This entails:

  • Using proficient discovery to understand what challenges our prospects face in billing, launching new products, pricing & packaging, quote-to-cash, customer experience, and related areas.
  • Telling a clear value story about how and where Metronome solves those challenges and creates opportunities.
  • Planning, building, and running customized demos of Metronome for buyers with many different personas (engineering, product management, operations, finance, etc).
  • Building relationships with people at our prospect organizations, from day-to-day operators to C-Suite executives. We believe in meeting our customers in-person whenever possible.
  • Designing integrations of Metronome into prospect systems and consultatively influencing the direction of our prospects’ pricing and packaging.
  • Running tight Proofs of Concept with clearly-defined success criteria that get us to the technical win.
  • Doing detailed scoping to ensure that customers are set up for success post-sales.
  • Ensuring a proper handoff to our post-sales Professional Services, Solutions Architecture, and Growth counterparts.

…all of this with prospects at the scale of our most strategic current customers (like Confluent, Databricks, OpenAI, and Anthropic). Expect these engagements to be complex, deep, technical, and most of all interesting. Metronome directly influences how the internet monetizes - AI is an obvious current example - and our group is on the front lines driving this influence with our prospects.

Metronome is a startup. As such, there’s a lot still to figure out and tremendous room for high-agency people to impact our direction and strategy, build processes from zero to one, and generally make a difference. If this excites you as much as it excites us, let’s talk.

Qualifications

--------------

This is roughly the set of things we’re looking for - if you’re interested in this role and don’t meet some of these on paper, err on the side of applying!

  • 5+ years of experience working in technical and/or customer-facing roles involving SaaS products (for example, roles like sales engineering, solutions architecture, technical account management).
  • Experience running complex sales cycles with enterprise tech companies.
  • Experience in fast-moving startup environments that value high agency.
  • Ability to quickly learn and communicate technical concepts to technical, go-to-market, and finance stakeholders.
  • Excitement for building and improving GTM playbooks and processes.

Bonus Points

  • Deep knowledge of the quote-to-cash space, including integrating with or otherwise interacting with tools like Salesforce, NetSuite, CPQs, etc.
  • Experience as a software engineer, product manager, or in other technical roles.
  • Experience in a pure sales role, particularly selling to technical buyers in engineering and product organizations or selling as a founding or early salesperson at a startup.
  • Experience with logs, metrics, billing, finance, or other infrastructure or financial tooling and concepts.

Compensation

The estimated base salary range for this role is $149,600 - $210,000. In addition to your base salary, Metronome offers a competitive total rewards package, including but not limited to market-benched equity, incentive pay, comprehensive health benefits, and other benefits listed below.

The actual base salary will vary based on factors including market value, individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process, and previous experience. The listed range above should serve as a guideline and may be modified at any time.

We believe that compensation reflects the expected impact you will have at the company, relative to the market value of your role. We also conduct an annual pay audit to ensure pay is fair, indexed to market value, and that pay takes into account continued performance at Metronome. If you would like to learn more about our philosophy or about why we are all billing nerds, send us a message. We’d love to talk!

Construction Industry in the Digital Age

Construction is the 2nd largest industry in the world (4x the size of SaaS!). But unlike software (with observability platforms such as AppDynamics and Datadog), construction teams lack automated feedback loops to help projects stay on schedule and on budget. Doxel AI exists to bring computer vision to construction, so the industry can deliver what society needs to thrive. From hospitals to data centers, from foreman to VPs of construction, teams use Doxel to make better decisions everyday. In fact, Doxel has contributed to the construction of the facilities that provide many of the products and services you use everyday.

  • Influence the future direction of our roadmap through active involvement in user research, concepting, and presenting new ideas that have yet to be explored by our team
  • Work with your sharpest tools —whether that’s sketches, wireframes, prototypes, or designs—you’ll have the opportunity to jump head first into new projects and own them, leveling up your skills in the process
  • Work in a highly collaborative fashion with the design, product, and engineering teams
  • Engage in design reviews regularly and consistently share your work with both design and company leadership

What You Bring To The Team

  • 5+ years relevant design experience at a tech, product-driven company
