You will join us as our new Senior data scientist within a highly experienced and talented data science team. You will be given the autonomy to lead on projects and will gain experience from working with a large and diverse set of data. This role sits within our product focussed games data science team.

What will your role involve?

  • Translates ambiguous business problems into measurable analytical components.
  • Implements methodologies to generate, collect and measure data for business use.
  • Uses a big data environment for analysis and works with engineers in the collection and curation of game data.
  • Works with unstructured/semi structured data to extract useful analytic measures.
  • Performs statistical analysis on experimental or business data to validate and quantify trends or patterns.
  • Defines best practices for analysis and visualization.
  • Collaborates with key business leaders to understand business problems and leverage analytic tools and processes for problem solving.
  • Writes advanced SQL for exploratory analysis.
  • Translates computational solutions/statistical models to implementable code.
  • Constructs recommendations and strategic/tactical plans based on business data and market knowledge.
  • Leads or collaborates with a team of data scientists, business intelligence analysts or big data engineers on analytical projects.
  • Capable of both fast paced business requirement and long term deep-dive analysis and finding the proper balance between the two.
  • Mentors junior data scientists.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor/Master/PhD degree in a relevant technical field, or equivalent experience in a relevant role.
  • Extensive experience solving analytical problems using quantitative and qualitative approaches.
  • Experience of A/B Testing
  • Worked with large data sets, moving computation towards data layer.
  • Used machine learning and modeling.
  • Experience using visualization techniques to record and communicate findings.

We are seeking a Technical Product Manager with a passion for slots game development, adept at defining robust requirements, and collaborating closely with studios to deliver on a strategic technology roadmap.

This role will be highly visible to senior leadership and central to defining the product requirements that support the development of innovative gaming products and platforms. The ideal candidate will possess a thorough understanding of internal studio needs, industry trends, and player behavior in the land-based gambling sector. The Technical Product Manager will engage extensively with cross-functional development teams to ensure high-value deliverables are achieved. Key responsibilities include technical requirements gathering, backlog prioritization, dependency alignment, and engagement with customers.

The individual will work closely with game studios and platform technology teams to ensure that product releases meet market requirements and the needs of our studios. This role will be instrumental in driving Aristocrat’s mission to maintain its leading position in the market through effective and creative product strategy.

  • Develop and manage the product content enablement roadmap, ensuring strategic alignment across multiple studios and product teams
  • Support the development of high-quality products through clear and complete product requirements from conception to execution
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal engineering teams and technical project managers, ensuring smooth collaboration at both customer and partnership levels
  • Collaborate directly with game studios to understand their needs, prioritize key issues, and effectively address their challenges
  • Drive multiple simultaneous initiatives, each involving distinct stakeholders and dependencies, ensuring clear communication and smooth execution throughout the process
  • Align dependencies across technology stacks and actively contribute to defining product-focused solutions that meet market demands
  • Serve as a team representative at all levels, including customers and executive leadership

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience documenting software product requirements and product backlog management
  • An understanding of slot gameplay mechanics or game development experience is strongly preferred
  • 2+ years of experience leading SDKs, GDKs, or other enterprise products, where the product and customer are technical in nature
  • Ability to compile documentation and report accurate and consumable product status
  • 5+ years of experience in understanding and communicating a product vision
  • Must be able to comprehend technical challenges, understand limitations and impact to the customer, and manage risk in reviewing technology options
  • 5+ years of experience working in cross-functional teams, especially with software developers, project managers, and other product managers
  • Comfortable with ambiguity; welcomes the challenge of refining a high-level vision into deliverable requirements
  • Must be a “team player” with the ability to work within collaborative environments to organize and facilitate program reviews, roadmap reviews, new product initiation meetings and investigations, and business case reviews
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

$132,825 - $246,675 per year

Our goal is to pay a market competitive salary focusing near the median of our pay ranges. However, final offers for all positions will be based on several factors such as experience level, education, skills, work location, and internal pay equity.

We are growing our teams and this is an opportunity for you to join our sunny Barcelona office as a Data/Product Analyst. You will be working together with other product analysts and data scientists embedded in our games team. You will have a key role in defining, extracting and actioning product data from big datasets. Thus, covering the full scope of data mining to reporting. In addition you will also be responsible to show the impact of product data via dashboards and/or other means of visualisations to key stakeholders throughout the company.

This role is intended to strengthen the craft of analytics in Product Madness and to ensure the game teams are making informed decisions based on actionable insights. Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Working closely with product and the game teams, implement tracking in games to capture player data and create reports that give further insight into player behaviour and product performance.
  • Form new insights and perspectives that inform decisions and help us continue to delight the people playing our games.
  • Produce reports and deliver insights that have an impact on the future direction of our games and the game roadmap.
  • Work with game teams and DWH to produce end to end data pipelines that empower end users.
  • Work closely with product and game teams to create reports and monitoring of daily KPIs.
  • Investigating issues in the Production environment, analysing and optimising existing product features and A/B tests.
  • Apply creative thinking towards designing, testing, verifying, and implementing solutions.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous  experience in a product or data analyst role
  • Strong SQL and Excel skills
  • Experience of standard reporting tools such as Looker/QlikView/Tableau/Power BI etc.
  • Working experience setting up and analyzing A/B-tests would be desirable
  • Strong in mathematics and quantitative analysis with a passion for numbers and data
  • Interested in gaming and the mobile game industry, any experience in these industries would be highly desirable
  • Fluent in English

  • A Masters degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics or a analytical field is preferred
  • Experience with Python and/or R would be ideal but not essential

What We're Looking For

Senior Product Manager

We're looking for a Senior Product Manager to drive the vision, strategy, and execution of our consumer lending products.
