Justworks is looking for a strategic, innovative, and growth-minded leader dedicated to scaling our paid acquisition efforts. The Senior Manager, Paid Media is a key leadership role within the Growth Marketing & Advertising team. The ideal candidate has repeatable experience in leading strategy, optimizing budgets, and scaling high-performing growth teams across a number of channels including digital platforms and media channels. This role establishes targets, works closely with analytics to understand attribution across all channels, and implements targeted audience marketing by balancing the appropriate creative, messaging and channels to reach target segments. You have deep experience analyzing performance data, implementing testing frameworks, and setting high-level strategy across all marketing levers to deliver results. You’re a passionate leader who will oversee and develop a team of talented marketers, up leveling and partnering with them to achieve targets. You will report to the Director, Growth Marketing & Advertising. 

What You Will Work On

  • Develop and manage integrated media plans across various channels to drive brand awareness, build pipeline, and power new customer acquisition
  • Drive cost-efficient new pipeline and revenue growth across a mix of performance marketing channels
  • Manage budgets and forecasts, identify risks to performance and opportunities for growth investments
  • Develop a deep understanding of our data and metrics to use as the basis for all campaign strategy and optimizations. Instill and be the champion of analytical rigor across the paid media team.
  • Oversee the strategy and optimization of digital and offline channels such as Paid Search, Paid Social, Out-of-Home, Programmatic, TV, Audio, Affiliate, Video, Display, and Direct Mail ensuring we are considering all stages of the marketing funnel
  • Partner with Creative to identify customer centric campaign and messaging concepts, driving integrated execution and ensuring clear and compelling communication of our value proposition
  • Enthusiastically lead, coach, and develop our paid media team
  • Build effective cross-functional partnerships with marketing operations, data services, website marketing, creative, product, content, sales and finance

Qualifications

  • 10+ yrs expertise leveraging a portfolio of paid marketing channels and tactics (Paid Search, Paid Social, Out-of-Home, Programmatic, TV, Audio, Affiliate, Video, Display, Direct Mail) to run effective always-on media and cross-channel campaigns and manage them to a highly profitable ROAS target
  • 5+ years in leadership / management experience with a track record of managing and coaching teams while executing plans within high level of accuracy
  • Proven ability to manage large marketing budgets and drive efficient revenue growth working in-house at a high-growth smb/consumer brand
  • Understanding of larger advertising platforms (e.g. Google, Meta) ad products, algorithms, creative optimization levers and broader understanding of industry trends.
  • A skilled communicator with the ability to influence decision makers and engage in discussions to educate, discuss strategy and growth of the business.
  • Experience implementing a full funnel testing strategy focused on improving conversion throughout the buyer journey
  • Experience using attribution modeling, A/B and incrementality testing to think holistically across paid media channels to drive meaningful results
  • Identify growth opportunities and drive channel optimization, building a culture of innovation and data driven experimentation by understanding the tradeoffs between channels to maximize results
  • Experience and enthusiasm for collaboration with cross-functional teams and forming successful relationships with stakeholders throughout the company

The base wage range for this position based in our New York City Office is targeted at $175,500.00 to $201,825.00 per year.
