Hi there! 👋 Are you passionate about building reliable systems that help data teams thrive at scale?

Zapier is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to join our Data Platforms team. In this role, you’ll work alongside our existing SRE to level up the reliability, observability, and operational maturity of the modern data stack that powers internal products and customer facing across Zapier. From orchestrating workflows in Databricks to tuning performance in our data infrastructure, you’ll play a key role in keeping our data ecosystem healthy, scalable, and developer-friendly.

About You

-------------

You’re experienced, but still growing. You have 4+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering roles. You’ve worked in production environments, solved real incidents, and shipped platform improvements—but you’re also eager to learn and grow alongside a thoughtful, distributed team.

You know the cloud—and how to keep it healthy. You’re familiar with cloud-native architecture and services (we use AWS). You’ve helped teams build and maintain reliable workflows using tools like Terraform and you understand the tradeoffs behind infrastructure decisions.

You’re observability- and incident-driven. You know how to detect issues before customers feel them. You believe in rich metrics, structured logs, and smart alerting. You’ve contributed to incident response processes and helped teams learn from failure.

You bring an automation- and AI-first mindset. You’re not afraid to write code (Python, TypeScript, or Bash are all great) and believe deeply in Infrastructure as Code. You lean into tools, automation, and AI to reduce toil, improve deployment confidence, and free up teams to focus on meaningful work. You're are open to experimenting with AI tools to decrease toil and increase your impact.

You’re a strong communicator in a remote-first world. You can clearly describe problems, propose solutions, and write clean documentation others can follow. You’re comfortable collaborating asynchronously with cross-functional teams and support partners.

You’ve used AI tooling for work or personal use—or you are willing to dive in and learn fast. You explore new tools, workflows, and ideas to make things more efficient, and are eager to deepen your understanding of AI and use it regularly.

Things You’ll Do

--------------------

  • Level up reliability for our modern data stack – Help support and evolve our data platforms (including Databricks, Airflow and our LLMOps tooling) with reliability best practices and clear operational standards.
  • Improve observability and alerting – Partner with engineering teams to implement monitoring and alerting that supports ownership, reduces noise, and improves incident response metrics like MTTD (Mean Time to Detect) and MTTR (Mean Time to Resolve).
  • Automate and optimize operations – Build and maintain infrastructure-as-code, job orchestration logic, and internal tooling that reduce manual intervention and improve system resilience.
  • Participate in on-call and incident response – Share in our on-call rotation (~one week per quarter) and work alongside others to improve postmortems, retrospectives, and mitigation strategies.
  • Contribute to security and compliance readiness – Help evolve our access controls, auditability, and deployment practices in support of growing needs like sensitive Data security compliance.
  • Be a partner, not a gatekeeper – Work closely with Data Engineers, ML Engineers, and Backend Engineers to ensure platforms are reliable and empowering to use.

Bonus Points

------------

(Not required, but nice to have!)

  • Experience with tools like Airflow, Databricks, or Kubernetes.
  • Experience with Databricks administration, cost governance, or workspace security
  • Familiarity with data lake architecture (e.g., Delta Lake, Unity Catalog)
  • Exposure to compliance-driven environments (HIPAA, SOC 2, etc.)
  • Demonstrated AI fluency—whether it’s applying AI for troubleshooting, documentation, automation, or infrastructure tooling

About Zapier

----------------

We're humans who simply think computers should do more work.

At Zapier, we’re not just making software—we’re building a platform to help millions of businesses globally scale with automation and AI. Our mission is to make automation work for everyone by delivering products that delight our customers. You’ll collaborate with brilliant people, use the latest tools, and leverage the flexibility of remote work. Your work will directly fuel our customers’ success, and as they grow, so will you.

Job Posted: 2/10/25

Location: Americas time zones (Atlantic, Eastern, Central, Mountain, and Pacific)

Hi there!

As Zapier continues to scale our mission to democratize automation, we're looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join the cutting-edge Functions team. This team is building a new, code-first product that enables developers to create powerful, flexible workflows by combining the simplicity of Zapier's platform with the full control of code.

As part of this team, you'll tackle exciting technical challenges, like designing scalable systems, improving the developer experience, and enabling seamless interaction with Zapier's library of over 7,000 integrations. You'll be at the forefront of creating tools that make automation accessible to technical users, giving them the flexibility to build exactly what they need—all while Zapier handles the hosting, authentication, and infrastructure.

If you're passionate about building elegant solutions for developers and want to work on a product that's defining the future of automation, we'd love to hear from you!

About You

-------------

You have 6+ years of experience with a minimum of 2 years at a senior level. You've dedicated at least 4 of those years to crafting and refining web-based software products.

Required Technical Skills/Experience:

  • Strong expertise in using TypeScript and Node.js for building backend services.
  • Strong system design and architectural skills.
  • Strong communications skills, including experience talking directly to customers.
  • Experience architecting and maintaining production infrastructure in AWS.

Nice-to-Have Technical Skills/Experience:

  • Familiarity with the Python ecosystem and execution model.
  • Experience managing execution of untrusted workloads in a controlled and safe fashion
  • Familiarity with LSP (Language Server Protocol) systems
  • Experience with observability tooling, particularly related to operational reliability
  • Awareness of security principles and experience securing publicly accessible sensitive systems
  • Experience building event driven systems
  • Expertise in AWS Lambda, Docker, and other containerization tooling

Non-technical skills/experience:

  • You live by the "always ship new code" mantra. You take pleasure in releasing code frequently, knowing that every deployment brings with it enhancements that directly impact users. You believe in frequent, iterative improvement.
  • You value collaboration. You understand that building software is a team sport, and you enjoy working as part of a tight-knit team. You’re happy to pitch in and help the team, whether by reviewing code, pairing on a tricky problem, or just thinking about how to solve the challenges we’re facing.
  • You're driven by results, not by process. In the ever-changing landscape of software development, you recognize that while processes are essential, they should never overshadow the end goal: delivering exceptional value.
  • You care about the 'why' more than the 'what'. If priorities seem nebulous or not optimized, you're confident and proactive in seeking clarity, ensuring that the team's efforts align with the broader vision. Misalignments don't escape you, and you're quick to flag them.
  • You're intentional and articulate. Every design choice you make stems from a place of intentionality. You're not one to follow the herd blindly. Instead, you advocate robustly for your design choices and implementation strategies.
  • You love teaching. You enjoy sharing knowledge with the rest of your team and building a culture of continuous growth. You have experience coaching engineers to help them level up.
  • You're an avid learner. The tech world's constant evolution excites you. Always on the prowl for the next big thing, you're quick to immerse yourself in the intricacies of its implementation.
  • You’ve used AI tooling for work or personal use—or you are willing to dive in and learn fast. You explore new tools, workflows, and ideas to make things more efficient, and are eager to deepen your understanding of AI and use it regularly.

Things You’ll Do

--------------------

The Functions team is a small, nimble team working to scale a new product from hundreds to tens-of-thousands of users. As such, a successful applicant will likely get the opportunity to work on a variety of project, including:

  • Participate in customer calls, understand pain-points, and work with your peer engineers and EPD (Engineering, Product, Design) leadership to suggest possible technical solutions to the wider team.
  • Build features that allow customers to more easily handle errors in their automations by merging Zapier integrations existing error processing routines with language-native error handling.
  • Work on improving our Functions execution model, such that we can run arbitrarily long untrusted integrations safely and efficiently.
  • Build excellent migration tooling, so customers code is automatically updated as integrations change in the Zapier system.
  • Leverage our observability tooling to track and understand user pain-points. Turn these insights into actionable tasks for the team.

You’ll also have the opportunity to specialize in a variety of areas of the Zapier codebase. Focusing on a specialization will not limit your growth at Zapier as we believe that each engineer brings a unique perspective and can contribute in all areas. We encourage collaboration and will frequently have engineers contribute across teams to assist with projects.

How to Apply

----------------

We're looking for the best fit for each of our roles, regardless of the type of companies in your background, so we encourage you to apply even if your skills and experiences don’t exactly match the job description. We're looking for a technical Engineering Manager to join our Revenue Zone - a critical area focused on building customer-centric revenue systems that power Zapier’s monetization and subscription experience.

As an Engineering Manager in the Revenue Zone, you will lead a team of engineers responsible for building, scaling and optimizing our revenue/monetization systems. Your team’s mission includes:

  • A comprehensive catalog system that defines all customer offerings (Plans, Add-ons, and more).
  • A scalable billing platform to support reliable monetization of Zapier’s products.
  • Enhanced multi-product purchasing experiences with seamless checkout.
  • Global tax compliance capabilities to meet regional regulations.
  • A frictionless payment experience that drives Zapier’s subscription business.
  • A robust subscription management system that enables flexible pricing and packaging.

You'll collaborate with Finance, Data, Product, Design and Support teams to ensure our systems are reliable, scalable, and aligned with business goals.

About You

-------------

  • You are an effective team builder and a skilled engineering leader. This isn't your first rodeo. You have at least two years of experience managing a cross-functional team of engineers comprising frontend, full stack, and backend. You know how to hire, train, and develop engineers from all backgrounds. You understand the benefits of building a diverse and inclusive engineering team.
  • You’re a collaborator. You leverage your strong communication skills to align on a shared vision and strategy with your Product and Design partners, ensuring that everyone is on the same page and working towards common goals. Your ability to build relationships and foster cooperation leads to successful project outcomes and a cohesive team dynamic.
  • You’re an advocate for your cross-functional stakeholders.  You actively seek input from stakeholders and integrate their feedback into decision-making processes. Your strategic approach and transparent communication style foster trust and alignment across teams, equipping them to handle changes and challenges effectively.
  • You have deep customer empathy and thrive in the details.  Zapier’s revenue systems power every purchase and maintain every customer relationship. With a customer-centric approach, you work with your team to improve the customer experience and participate in programs to enhance our product offerings.
  • You’ve shipped production code and you know what great code looks like. You contribute to design discussions, review code, and establish quality standards for your team. A solid grasp of engineering skills is essential, along with a practical understanding of software development practices. Understanding the current state, anticipating future developments, and maintaining a strategic view is important to you.
  • You relish change and seek leverage.  Zapier is growing and we’re adapting our revenue systems with future growth in mind.  You’re comfortable leading change.  These changes will replace whole systems and move ownership in ways that may significantly alter the mission of your team.  You see an opportunity to build a more capable company and can navigate short-term uncertainty
  • You have excellent communication skills. You regularly work with engineers and other stakeholders from various disciplines, balancing engineering concerns, such as technical debt, with product concerns. Ideally, you find solutions that address both the team and user needs but if not, help build understanding around difficult decisions.
  • You have prior experience or a strong interest in revenue systems, including subscription management, invoicing, and payment processing platforms such as Stripe, PayPal, or Square - covering integration, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • You’ve used AI tooling for work or personal use—or you are willing to dive in and learn fast. You explore new tools, workflows, and ideas to make things more efficient, and are eager to deepen your understanding of AI and use it regularly.

Things You'll Do

--------------------

  • Work closely with your product and design peers to deliver customer and company value.
  • Develop effective ways to communicate, monitor, and lead your team through weekly one-on-ones and team meetings.
  • Keep the leadership team informed on your team’s progress and challenges in ways that are easy and enjoyable to receive, like one-on-one's, update posts, and regular team hangouts.
  • Build rapport with each member of the Engineering Team and support them through coaching and mentorship to help level up their skills, and performance management when necessary.
  • Participate in code reviews, learning and spreading technical knowledge throughout Zapier -- moving knowledge to documentation where appropriate.
  • Maintain a focus on our customers by using customer feedback to guide your team through tradeoffs. You’ll help your team understand when to be rigid on quality and how to be flexible and create with scope.
  • Work directly with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure our systems are serving their needs.  This could include Support, Accounting, Finance, and strategic initiative leads.
  • Actively recruit, onboard, and train new engineers at Zapier, as well as supporting the continuous improvement of hiring practices in Engineering
  • Organize your team to serve our customers.  In addition to our standard incident escalation practices, revenue teams work to resolve technical questions related to customer billing questions.

We'd love to hear why you think you'd excel in this role. In answering your application questions, please reference any particular aspects of the "About You" and "Things You Might Do" that resonate with your experience and skills.

Hi there!

Are you ready to make a real impact in a dynamic and innovative environment? We're thrilled to invite you to join the Data AI/ML team at Zapier as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer!

As a member of our Data AI/ML team, you'll be at the forefront of our AI & Machine Learning initiatives. This is your chance to empower our product, business and engineering teams to leverage AI on a daily basis. You'll play a pivotal role in enhancing Zapier’s machine learning & AI tooling capabilities and influencing the way we build products using these tools. Your expertise will provide invaluable technical mentorship and assistance in scaling our use of AI/ML across the company.

Zapier is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace dedicated to pursuing and hiring a diverse workforce.

Even though our job description may seem like we're looking for a specific candidate, the role inevitably ends up tailored to the person who applies and joins. Regardless of how well you feel you fit our description, we encourage you to apply if you meet these criteria:

About You

-------------

  • You have 7+ years of experience working with Machine Learning (ML) in production (with at least 1-2 years experience specific to Large Language Models (LLM)). You have experience writing clean Python code with reproducible results. You have knowledge of ML/LLM data structures and modeling, software architecture, libraries and frameworks to create models that sufficiently meet the needs of project goals.
  • You combine your strong applied ML/LLM knowledge with statistical expertise (e.g. confidence intervals, regression modeling, significance testing). You have strong mathematics skills, especially in statistics, to create algorithms. This includes demonstrated experience with common ML techniques for deep data mining and exploration (e.g. predictive modeling, time series modeling, classification, and clustering techniques).  Understand how to determine the right machine learning algorithms for a given task and evaluate their performance, including understanding the trade-offs between different models and selecting the most suitable one based on the data and problem at hand.
  • You have a strong understanding of how LLMs and ML models succeed in a production environment. You have experience developing and improving upon evaluation frameworks for LLMs which focus on performance, reliability, and bias assessment/mitigation. You have extensive experience working with user data to engineer features for models, select appropriate model architectures, tune model parameters, and evaluate model quality. You have familiarity with fine-tuning models to achieve their maximum performance, i.e. optimizing hyperparameters, handling overfitting, A/B testing, and improving the efficiency of algorithms.
  • You’re familiar with various prompt techniques for LLM grounding such as chain-of-thought, static few-shot examples, and dynamic few-shot. You’re familiar with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (‘RAG’) systems. You have an understanding of how to optimize knowledge retrieval for improved model accuracy and speed.  You can apply your knowledge of different indexing/chunking strategies on the data to achieve desired goals. You understand semantic search and vector databases, and how they differ from classic retrieval methods and databases. Experience with reranking and knowledge graphs is a plus.
  • You have a strong engineering sense. You’re familiar with automating ModelOps/DataOps processes which include creating pipelines and understand how CI/CD processes work.  You’re a stellar data wrangler and have experience cleaning and structuring data for modeling purposes.
  • You are a skilled written communicator. Zapier is a 100% remote team and writing is our primary means of communication. You communicate complex technical topics clearly and in an approachable way.
  • You have proven stakeholder management expertise. As a collaborative thought partner, you're gifted at explaining your findings clearly to a non-technical audience. You have experience partnering with product and engineering to deliver business value through scalable ML/LLM development and deployment.
  • You enjoy collaboration and knowledge sharing. You appreciate our team’s values of eagerness to collaborate with teammates with any level of statistical and ML/LLM knowledge, iterating over your deliverables, and being curious.
  • You are an out of the box thinker. You employ your creative thinking skills to come up with new solutions and approaches that meet business objectives. You have sound problem-solving skills to refine prototypes and troubleshoot performance issues. You remain up to date on the latest innovations in machine learning in order to develop solutions that scale.
  • You understand that perfect is the enemy of good. You will default to action by initially shipping solutions that simply work and work simply while iterating as needed.
  • You’ve used AI tooling for work or personal use—or you are willing to dive in and learn fast. You explore new tools, workflows, and ideas to make things more efficient, and are eager to deepen your understanding of AI and use it regularly.

Things You’ll Do

--------------------

Zapier is a fast-growing and remote-first company, so you'll get experience on many different projects to support our stakeholders. Here are some things you might get to help our teams with:

  • Work with Engineering teams to develop and improve ML and LLM models, as well as refine our systems and processes in the space.
  • Design, implement, deploy, and improve upon prompting for LLMs with comprehensive evaluation suites to assess model performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with other Data teams to develop ML projects in various sectors of the business.
  • Create LLM and ML model prototypes based on project specifications.
  • Process data for model fine tuning and fine-tune models for maximum performance that meet business needs.
  • Build and deploy data models as well as RAG systems.
  • Implement changes to algorithms to improve ML model performance as well as troubleshoot and address problems with deployed ML models to improve user experience.
  • Develop data literacy programs and provide easy-to-use tools with clear documentation, examples, and tutorials.
  • Participate in the on-call rotation (about 1 week per quarter) to support our production services.

Our stack is best summed up by: Databricks, AWS(S3), Python/Typescript, Airflow, dbt, Kafka, Braintrust.

Senior Machine Learning Engineer vs Other Roles At Zapier

How do we discern between a ML Engineer vs Applied AI Engineer? The following are discrete topics we expect to see a deep competency in specifically for ML Engineers:

  • Strong background in statistics.
  • ML techniques for deep data mining and exploration.
  • Automating DevOps/ModelOps/DataOps processes with pipelines and CI/CD.
  • Data wrangling and building data pipelines.

Job Posted: 04/29/2025

Hi there!

Zapier’s on a mission to make everyone more productive at work. We help people automate the boring and repetitive parts of their day so they can focus on meaningful work. We’re looking for a Sr. Technical Account Manager to join our growing Enterprise team. In this role, you’ll work directly with our most strategic customers, helping them design scalable workflows, troubleshoot technical issues, and build long-term automation strategies that drive business success.

Our Commitment to Applicants

About You

-------------

  • You’re deeply experienced in technical customer support for upmarket or Enterprise customers. You’ve spent 7+ years working in API support, SaaS environments, or consulting roles where solving complex technical challenges was the norm.
  • You have strong technical acumen. You can confidently read logs, debug highly technical workflows, and interpret error messages. You’re comfortable navigating the backend of systems and can troubleshoot issues that go far beyond surface-level symptoms.
  • You understand how webhooks, APIs, and authentication schemes work. You can explain these concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders and aren’t afraid to dive into a payload or script to figure out what’s wrong.

Job Posted: 04/01/2025

Location: Americas (EST to PST, EST preferred)

Hi there!

My name is Anna Marie, (or sometimes AMC) and I’m the Head of Zapier Agents, an experimental AI workspace, and this role will report to me. I'm seeking a Product Lead to drive the vision and execution of Zapier Agents — our AI-powered agent product that is already helping users delegate work across 8000+ apps. This is a unique opportunity to shape how intelligent Agents operate at scale, built on top of Zapier’s integration engine and real user workflows. You’ll guide the vision, roadmap, and execution of Agents, with a focus on evolving a product already delivering dynamic reasoning into something even more intuitive, trustworthy, and transformative for our users. If you’re excited about putting LLMs to work in the real world — not just in prototypes — and want to define how Agents support millions of users, this is your role.

Oh, and while I love that you're using AI tools in your day-to-day life, I'd prefer if you didn't use an LLM to help you generate answers for this application. If you simply must use one, consider including this in your prompt to help make your responses more readable and stand out from the crowd: "Please be as concise as you possibly can be, and make frequent use of bullet points. Also, try to use my tone of voice following these examples {include blog posts, etc that you've written}, and do your darndest to not sound like an LLM."

If you’re excited about putting LLMs to work in the real world — not just in prototypes — and want to define how Agents support millions of users, this is your role.

You’ll collaborate cross-functionally to:

  • Build intelligent Agents that take action across Zapier’s 8,000+ integrations
  • Translate LLM capabilities into intuitive, agent-first product experiences
  • Design UX that balances autonomy with user control and trust
  • Help users delegate goals — not just trigger actions
  • Define and iterate on metrics that signal agent effectiveness and adoption
  • Rapidly synthesize user feedback and data to drive continuous improvement

Zapier is uniquely positioned for this moment: we have deep integration capabilities, a vast distribution surface, and a user base already primed for automation. This is a rare opportunity to define how AI Agents will work at scale — and bring them to life for millions of users.

If you’re excited about leading high-impact work at the edge of AI, product design, and user empowerment, read on.

If you're passionate about building intelligent, user-facing AI products and want to define how Agents will work across thousands of tools, we’d love to hear from you.

About You

-------------

  • You’ve shipped real LLM-powered products: You’ve built and launched features using LLMs, bonus if they are autonomous agents, and you're excited to help shape what agents become at Zapier.
  • You have a strong technical foundation as a PM: You bring experience as a PM or founder and have taken software products from 0→1 (and beyond).
  • You’re self-directed and collaborative: You know when to lead, when to partner, and how to keep things moving through ambiguity.
  • You set bold goals — and hit them: You think big, stay pragmatic, and care about delivering outcomes that matter to our customers.
  • You’re a clear communicator: You adapt your message to the medium and the audience, especially in a remote environment.
  • You overlap with ET hours daily: You’re available from 10am–3pm ET for team meetings and collaboration, in addition to async work.
  • You’ve used AI tooling for work or personal use—or you are willing to dive in and learn fast. You explore new tools, workflows, and ideas to make things more efficient, and are eager to deepen your understanding of AI and use it regularly.

What You’ll Do

------------------

  • Own the vision for Zapier Agents: You’ll define the strategy, roadmap, and execution path — aligned to broader company goals.
  • Lead from idea to launch: You’ll partner across teams to shape ideas, ship value early, and iterate as you go.
  • Deeply Understand Your Users: Be the internal expert on your users and their needs, so you can reflect those needs in your prioritization decisions & serve as an effective champion.
  • Use data to make smart calls: You’ll measure what matters and refine your roadmap based on what you learn.
  • Collaborate across disciplines: You’ll work closely with Engineering, Design, GTM, and Support to deliver impactful product experiences.

We'd love to hear why you think you'd excel in this role. In answering your application questions, please reference any particular aspects of the "About You" and "Things You Might Do" that resonate with your experience and skills.

Hi there!

Zapier is on a mission to make automation work for everyone. As we expand upmarket and deepen our focus on enterprise, we are looking for a Senior Demand Generation Manager to lead our Demand Generation and Lifecycle teams, driving high-impact campaigns that generate sales pipeline and revenue.

This role will be responsible for developing and executing full-funnel demand generation strategies, working closely with Sales, Product Marketing, Lifecycle Marketing, and Performance Marketing to fuel Zapier’s continued growth in the mid-market and enterprise space.

About You

-------------

  • You are a demand generation leader with a strong track record of driving pipeline growth and 8+ yrs of experience. You know how to build and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns that engage the right audience and convert them into sales opportunities.
  • You understand how to fuel a Sales-Led Growth  motion within a Product-Led Growth company. You’ve built Product Qualified Lead motions, leveraging email, in-product messaging, and behavioral signals to surface high-intent users and drive conversion at the right moment.
  • You understand the power of automation and how it transforms marketing. You enjoy building workflows that improve efficiency, whether it’s optimizing lead nurture sequences, automating reporting, or streamlining campaign execution. You’re naturally curious about AI and emerging marketing technologies, always looking for ways to experiment with new tools and enhance your team’s day-to-day work. You know your way around marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and AI-driven solutions, and you’re excited about how AI can reshape demand generation.
  • You understand the full customer journey, from awareness to conversion to expansion. You have experience leading Account-Based Marketing (ABM) programs, working closely with Sales teams to engage high-value accounts. You also know how to optimize lifecycle marketing, ensuring leads move through the funnel with the right nurture strategies at each stage.
  • You’re a data-driven marketer who thrives on experimentation. You use insights to test, iterate, and optimize campaigns, always looking for ways to improve conversion rates and increase efficiency. You partner with Revenue Operations to ensure accurate tracking and reporting on MQLs, SQLs, PQLs, pipeline, and revenue impact.
  • You are a collaborative leader who can bring together teams across marketing and sales. You lead and mentor the Demand Generation and Lifecycle teams, fostering a culture of high performance, continuous learning, and innovation. While you won’t own paid media, you know how to work with the Performance Marketing team to align demand gen efforts with broader acquisition strategies.
  • You are a clear communicator who can distill complex strategies into simple, actionable plans. Whether it’s leading a team meeting, writing a strategy doc, or sharing insights with leadership, you ensure stakeholders understand what’s working, what’s not, and what’s next.
  • You thrive in fast-moving environments where priorities shift, new challenges arise, and opportunities emerge. You take ownership of your work, stay focused on business impact, and aren’t afraid to challenge the status quo to improve results.
  • You’ve used AI tooling for work or personal use—or you are willing to dive in and learn fast. You explore new tools, workflows, and ideas to make things more efficient, and are eager to deepen your understanding of AI and use it regularly.

Things You’ll Do

--------------------

  • Develop and execute demand generation strategies to drive qualified leads and pipeline for the Sales team, balancing PLG and SLG motions.
  • Lead the Lifecycle Marketing team, optimizing nurture programs, conversion strategies, and retention efforts.
  • Build and run Account-Based Marketing (ABM) programs, working with Sales and BDR teams to engage and convert strategic accounts.
  • Partner with the Performance Marketing team to align on paid campaigns, ensuring they support demand generation and pipeline goals.
  • Use data and insights to optimize performance, running experiments and iterating on campaigns to improve conversion rates and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Revenue Operations to ensure accurate tracking of MQLs, SQLs, pipeline contribution, and revenue attribution.
  • Create a culture of experimentation, testing new approaches across email, ABM, webinars, content marketing, and lifecycle strategies.
  • Lead and mentor the Demand Generation and Lifecycle teams, ensuring alignment, clarity, and execution against key objectives.
  • Advocate for marketing’s role in revenue generation, ensuring demand gen efforts align with Sales and company-wide growth priorities.

  • You're naturally curious about AI and regularly experiment with different AI tools to drive efficiency in your day-to-day work or personal life.
  • Executive-Level Engagement: Skilled at building relationships with C-suite stakeholders and guiding strategic conversations around automation.

How to Apply

----------------

At Zapier, we believe that diverse perspectives and experiences make us better, which is why we have a non-standard application process designed to promote inclusion and equity. We're looking for the best fit for each of our roles, regardless of the type of companies in your background, so we encourage you to apply even if your skills and experiences don’t exactly match the job description. All we ask is that you answer a few in-depth questions in our application that would typically be asked at the start of an interview process. This helps speed things up by letting us get to know you and your skillset a bit better right out of the gate. Please be sure to answer each question; the resume and CV fields are optional.

Education is not a requirement for our roles; however, if you receive an offer, you will need to include your most recent educational experience as part of our background check process.

After you apply, you are going to hear back from us—even if we don’t see an immediate fit with our team. In fact, throughout the process, we strive to never go more than seven days without letting you know the status of your application. We know we’ll make mistakes from time to time, so if you ever have questions about where you stand or about the process, just ask your recruiter!
