Background 

Since its launch in 2021, Kubrick Advanced has grown dramatically (x4 headcount) and become central to Kubrick’s offering to our clients. As we have scaled our activities and involvement across Kubrick’s 100+ clients, there is a defined need for additional leadership within the team to own and develop our solutions sales and delivery to clients. Kubrick is now seeking two ‘Solution Leads’ to work directly with the Head of Kubrick Advanced to accelerate our growth and evolve our services. Each Solution Lead will own their respective client portfolio and client relationships. 

Purpose 

The Kubrick Advanced Solutions Leads will be critical in supporting Kubrick’s evolution as a consultancy, growing the commercial reach of Kubrick Advanced across our existing clients and supporting the acquisition of new clients. The Solutions Leads will be dedicated senior commercial roles within the team, responsible for cultivating, growing, and managing the pipeline of Kubrick Advanced opportunities through active engagement with our clients and a consultative approach to sales generation and delivery oversight. 

The role will focus on solutions-based selling to our clients, leveraging Kubrick Advanced’s increased capabilities, supported by Kubrick’s talent augmentation model. The role will be active in shaping and aligning Kubrick Advanced services, ensuring they deliver maximum impact to Kubrick’s growth and our clients. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Grow and manage the pipeline of Kubrick Advanced opportunities through active engagement with our clients to align a solutions-based approach to meeting their data and technology needs.
  • Lead on scoping potential KA engagements, ensuring alignment to Kubrick services and capabilities, collaborating with our Delivery Leads to gain technical input into the scoping and planning process.
  • Managing the opportunities pipeline in collaboration with the Client Account Management Team, working with the KA tech pre-sales capability to plan engagements and deliver compelling proposals to our clients.
  • Play a leading role in defining the evolving Kubrick Advanced proposition, in line with Kubrick’s product led go to market approach.
  • Evolving KA’s GTM to deliver higher value services to our clients
  • Defining repeatable services and solutions
  • Thought leadership and developing collateral to support our proposition (e.g. engagement case studies)
  • Support Kubrick’s client account management team by collaborating on go to market initiatives offering the full range of Kubrick’s services, including collaboration with our technology partners. 
  • Play an active role in supporting senior client relationships.

Grow KA Revenue (£) YoY (aligned to client portfolio and revenue targets)

  • Increase volume of Kubrick Advanced deployments
  • Team utilisation (through demand generation)
  • Pricing – driving commercial success through effective pricing of our services
  • Client coverage & depth – increase KA’s activity in prioritised client accounts 
  • New clients – support to strategic client acquisition activities

What are we looking for? 

  • Prior experience of scoping, winning and delivering successful projects withing the public sector 
  • Prior experience selling digital or technology solutions or professional services within the public sector. 
  • Working with central, local government, health department and defence bodies 
  • The ability to drive engagement with senior stakeholders, navigating through complex organization structures to educate on Kubrick’s operating model. 
  • High levels of confidence and autonomy running procurement and competitive bid writing 
  • Experience with value selling, holding conversations with decision makers and C-level executives, and being able to establish long term relationships whilst being naturally curious  
  • The ability to hold full sales cycles – Introduction, Qualification & Solution meetings to fully understand requirements and propose the right services to position Kubrick as a long-term delivery partner  
  • The ability to onboard Kubrick Group to most appropriate government procurement frameworks 
  • The ability to build org charts of unknown organisations to improve knowledge of businesses to increase awareness and footprint, increasing demand and appetite for Kubrick Consultants.  
  • Proven experience, growing depth, and knowledge within large organisations and public bodies

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy and Leadership: 

  • Develop and implement an effective sales strategy for the public sector, aligning it with the overall company goals, objectives and GTM strategy 
  • Lead and motivate the public sector sales team, providing guidance, coaching, and support to maximize their performance and achieve sales targets. 
  • Collaborate with the commercial leadership and other key stakeholders to establish and execute sales plans, forecasting, and budgeting for the public sector division. 
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and potential risks, adapting the sales strategy accordingly. 

Business Development: 

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in government agencies and public sector organizations. 
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations within the public sector to expand the company's market presence. 
  • Lead the development and delivery of compelling proposals, pitches, and presentations to secure new business deals. 

Client Engagement and Relationship Management:

  • Engage with clients to understand their specific needs, challenges, and requirements, ensuring the delivery of tailored solutions that address their unique problems. 
  • Foster long-term relationships with clients, becoming a trusted advisor and advocate for Kubrick Group's services. 
  • Ensure a high level of client satisfaction through effective communication, follow-up, and ongoing support. Measured through the annual NPS survey. 

Commercial Performance and Reporting: 

  • Set and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the public sector sales team, evaluating their performance regularly, in line with wider GTM. 
  • Generate regular reports and updates on sales activities, revenue forecasts, and achievements for senior management and Kubrick executive board. 

 

 

Cross-functional Collaboration: 

  • Work closely with other departments, such as Marketing, Delivery, Kubrick Advanced, Channel Alliance and Operations, to ensure a cohesive approach to public sector sales and customer engagement. 
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and sales materials that resonate with the public sector audience.  

Reporting To: Global Head of Client Acquisition and Growth    

Location: Hybrid (remote and 3x weekly from Central London Office) 

£140,000 - £150,000 (£250,000 -£350,000 OTE post onboarding and function being productive and achieving revenue goals )

The Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated Acquisition Manager to join our team in London, focused on generating new business. You will have the opportunity to attract new business partnerships and work in a dynamic and growing data and tech consultancy. (75% new business)

In this role, you’ll be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and have a huge impact on the growth of the company. You will be responsible for the full sales cycle, owning the commercial relationship with both new and existing clients. We are therefore looking for someone with the 'hunter' mindset and a drive for new business generation.

This role sits in the Growth team at Kubrick and is responsible for growing revenue. The focus will be purely on new business/logos, but can change depending on demand of existing business.  This is an ideal role for someone with Enterprise sales experience in a consultancy or HTD company who is driven and ready for the next stage of their career.

Responsibilities:

  • Using sales tools to conduct structured outreach daily to secure meetings with new prospects 
  • Hold full sales cycles – Introduction, Qualification & Solution meetings  
  • Engage with senior stakeholders, navigating through complex organisation structures to educate on Kubrick’s operating model  
  • Understand client requirements and propose the right services to position Kubrick as a long-term business partner  
  • Hold procurement discussions and win logos through signed Master Client Agreements 
  • Own the Kubrick commercial relationship with a mixed portfolio of existing clients. 
  • Grow the revenue generation by seeking out new opportunities through lead generation, prospecting, outreach and email campaigns. 
  • Working with key known stakeholders to understand strategy of our clients and Oversight but not ownership of operational activities including SOWs, billing and consultant rotation 
  • Prospecting new targets and overseeing commercial element of contract negotiation 
  • Owning and managing your own sales pipeline 
  • Pitching new stakeholder in existing business and new targets entirely and owning full sales process from prospecting to close. 

Personal Specification:

  • Demonstrable sales experience, ideally within a tech or consulting business

  • Oversee Kubrick Advanced engagements, ensuring commercial and delivery success. 
  • Lead on scoping potential KA engagements, ensuring alignment to KA services and capabilities
