The Opportunity

Deepgram is expanding globally and building a true follow‑the‑sun model. We are hiring a Solutions Architect in EMEA to own complex post‑sales engagements, guide customers to production, and strengthen our technical support coverage for the region. You will work across the full customer lifecycle, with a primary focus on architecture, implementation, and Tier‑3 technical problem solving. You will also contribute to pre‑sales validation when deep technical credibility is needed, partner with Product and Engineering on feedback and roadmap, and help mature our global operations.

About Applied Engineering at Deepgram

Applied Engineering combines functions that other companies split across Solutions Engineering, Solutions Architecture, Consulting, and Senior Technical Support. We are the technical interface from first discovery through successful production and beyond. The team partners closely with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and DevRel to deliver an enterprise‑grade experience that is fast, clear, and outcome‑oriented.

What You’ll Do

--------------

  • Lead architecture and implementation for enterprise deployments that use Deepgram’s speech‑to‑text, text‑to‑speech, and voice‑agent capabilities.
  • Own post‑sales technical success for assigned accounts. Unblock integrations, optimize accuracy and latency, and guide customers to stable production.
  • Serve as the Tier‑3 escalation point for complex issues. Drive root cause analysis, propose mitigations, and write durable fixes or automation when possible.
  • Design reference architectures and implementation patterns for common EMEA customer use cases including contact centers, voice analytics, QA, and AI agents.
  • Build high‑quality samples, internal tools, or scripts that make repeatable tasks easier for customers and for our team.
  • Contribute to pre‑sales discovery and POCs when deep technical direction is needed. Translate business goals to a concrete plan with clear success criteria.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to prioritize fixes and features. Bring crisp customer signals that improve our roadmap.
  • Contribute to knowledge systems. Capture runbooks, playbooks, and docs that scale your expertise across regions.
  • Participate in an on‑call or incident rotation appropriate for the region and customer support tier. Help us meet or outperform regional SLAs.

Regional Expectations

---------------------

  • Based in an EMEA time zone with reliable overlap to customer business hours.
  • Excellent written and spoken English. Additional European languages are a strong plus.
  • Familiarity with GDPR, data privacy expectations, and enterprise security reviews common across EMEA.
  • Ability to travel within the region for critical customer milestones, estimated 10–20 percent.

Your First 90 Days

------------------

First 30 days

Ramp on Deepgram’s platform, APIs, SDKs, self-hosted deployments, and support practices. Shadow calls across pre-sales, post-sales, and support. Begin owning low-risk technical tasks for an active account and contribute improvements to runbooks or sample code.

By day 60

Own two to three customer workstreams end-to-end. Lead discovery for one new implementation or migration. Publish one reusable asset such as a deployment guide, Helm example, or troubleshooting playbook.

By day 90

Act as primary technical owner for several EMEA accounts in production. Close at least one complex investigation with measurable customer impact. Present a short readout on a repeated regional pattern and the automation or content you created to solve it.

Minimum Qualifications

----------------------

  • 5 or more years in Solutions Architecture, Solutions Engineering, or similar customer‑facing technical roles.
  • Professional software engineering experience in at least one language such as Python, Rust, or JavaScript. You can build POCs and tools that real users run.
  • Hands‑on experience with modern cloud platforms. Comfortable with containerization and orchestration, for example Docker and Kubernetes, and with secure network design for API‑driven systems.
  • Proven ownership of complex post‑sales work such as production deployments, migrations, performance tuning, and incident response.
  • Clear written and verbal communication across both technical and executive audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

------------------------

  • Experience with speech recognition, TTS, or building voice agents that orchestrate LLMs.
  • Familiarity with WER analysis, model selection and tuning, and accuracy‑versus‑latency tradeoffs.
  • Experience operating self‑hosted systems, including Helm‑based deployments and observability for production services.
  • Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, data residency, and compliance topics that appear in EMEA enterprise reviews.
  • Fluency in an additional European language such as German, French, Dutch, Italian, or Spanish.

Deepgram is looking for an Outbound Sales Development Representative to drive new customers and revenue to our rapidly growing company. You will create sales opportunities for Deepgram as you share our mission with CTOs, VPs of Product, and CEOs. You are a critical component in Deepgram’s Revenue organization and will play a pivotal role in growing our top-line revenue to new heights!

What You'll Do

  • Work with our Partnerships team, Account Executives, and your fellow SDRs to build a strong sales pipeline of new logos, striving to exceed quarterly sales targets
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (especially Sales Ops and Sales Engineers) to ensure sales effectiveness

Your mission:

  • Drive the design, build and maintain large-scale machine learning systems, ensuring they align with the Vendor  strategic product goals, while optimising for performance and efficiency

What you'll need to be successful:

  • Expert knowledge of data management, storage, and best MLOps and DataOps practices to enable performant and cost-efficient ML systems at scale.
  • Deep expertise with modern ML frameworks and libraries (e.g. TensorFlow, PyTorch) and the ability to guide adoption of best practices across diverse ML use cases.
  • Experience in designing, deploying, and operating large-scale machine learning systems in production, with a track record of delivering high-impact solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms and distributed infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure) and proficiency in containerisation and orchestration technologies (eg Docker, Kubernetes) for building resilient ML services.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and commonly used tools in ML Engineering such as Metaflow, MLflow, Airflow, Grafana, and similar.

You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, data science, analytics, and platform teams, to define, prioritize, and deliver highly technical product solutions that directly impact user experience and business metrics related to category browsing and item discoverability within curated collections. We are growing our teams and this is an opportunity for you to join our sunny Barcelona office as a Data/Product Analyst. You will be working together with other product analysts and data scientists embedded in our games team. You will have a key role in defining, extracting and actioning product data from big datasets. Thus, covering the full scope of data mining to reporting. In addition, you will also be responsible to show the impact of product data via dashboards and/or other means of visualisations to key partners throughout the company.

Why this role?

This role is intended to strengthen the craft of analytics in Product Madness and to ensure the game teams are making informed decisions based on actionable insights. Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Collaborate with product and game teams to integrate game tracking, capturing player data for improved insights.
  • Form new insights and perspectives that advise decisions and help us continue to delight the people playing our games.
  • Produce reports and deliver insights that have an impact on the strategic direction of our games and the game roadmap.
  • Work with game teams and DWH to produce end to end data pipelines that empower end users.
  • Work closely with teams responsible for product development and gaming to develop reports and supervise daily goals.
  • Investigating issues in the Production environment, analysing and optimising existing product features and A/B tests.
  • Apply creative thinking towards crafting, testing, verifying, and implementing solutions.

What we're looking for

  • Previous  experience in a product or data analyst role
  • Strong SQL and Excel skills
  • Experience of standard reporting tools such as Looker/QlikView/Tableau/Power BI etc.
  • Working experience setting up and analyzing A/B-tests would be desirable
  • Strong in mathematics and quantitative analysis with a passion for numbers and data
  • Interested in gaming and the mobile game industry, any experience in these industries would be helpful
  • Proficient in English

  • A degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics or a analytical field is helpful
  • Experience with Python and/or R would be ideal but not crucial

Nous sommes à la recherche d’un spécialiste des opérations de jeux qui se joindra à notre petite équipe dynamique à Montréal. Dans ce rôle, tu seras responsable de la configuration des fonctionnalités des jeux en direct et des stratégies de monétisation pour un nouveau jeu emballant. Tu joueras un rôle clé dans le processus des opérations en direct, en interagissant directement avec notre public et en veillant à ce que les joueurs vivent la meilleure expérience possible. C’est une occasion fantastique de faire partie d’une petite équipe amicale et solidaire au sein d’un service des opérations de jeux chevronné. Tu auras accès à des outils de pointe de l’industrie et tu auras la chance de travailler sur une propriété intellectuelle (PI) de premier plan. De plus, tu participeras au développement et à l’optimisation des outils internes, ce qui contribuera à améliorer l’efficacité de nos opérations.

Ce que vous ferez

  • Configurer et ajuster les fonctionnalités des jeux en direct en fonction de la planification des opérations de jeux
  • Travailler en étroite collaboration avec les services artistiques, de développement, de conception de jeux, avec les gestionnaires des opérations de jeux et avec l’équipe de produits afin de créer des processus qui apportent de nouvelles fonctionnalités du test à la production
  • Étudier et résoudre les problèmes liés aux jeux en direct en collaborant avec les développeurs et les testeurs chargés de l’assurance qualité
  • Utiliser ses compétences en résolution de problèmes pour cerner et résoudre les problèmes auxquels font face les joueurs
  • Explorer de nouvelles façons d’automatiser les tâches manuelles et répétitives pour améliorer l’efficacité

Ce que nous recherchons

  • Expérience en gestion de LiveOps (CRM) ou en assurance qualité dans une industrie pertinente (idéalement jeux mobiles F2P)
  • Compréhension des applications client/serveur et de la gestion des versions
  • Expérience avec Jira ou des outils de gestion de projet similaires
  • Familiarité avec JSON, XML ou des formats équivalents pour la configuration des fonctionnalités de jeu
  • Compétence de base en Excel ou Google Sheets pour le suivi et l’analyse des données
  • Connaissance des processus de tests de marché, y compris les tests A/B et la segmentation de marché
  • Compréhension des stratégies de déploiement de fonctionnalités et de leur impact sur l’engagement des joueurs
  • Expérience avec des outils de LiveOps (par exemple, Braze, Airship)
  • Familiarité avec SQL ou des outils d’analyse de données
  • Connaissance des stratégies d’engagement et de monétisation des joueurs
