Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Director of Software Development to lead our dynamic development team. This role involves overseeing the design, development, and implementation of innovative software solutions that align with our business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, leadership experience, and a passion for driving technological advancements.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the software development team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Develop and execute strategic plans for software development initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and specifications.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions within established timelines.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to inform strategic decisions.
- Mentor and develop team members, promoting professional growth and skill enhancement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of managing complex software projects from conception to deployment.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Location:
This role is based in Plano, Texas, with a hybrid work arrangement requiring onsite presence 2 days per week.
Compensation:
The base salary range for this position is between $150,000 to $180,000, with eligibility for an annual bonus. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, business needs, and market demand.
