The UX Designer creates intuitive and compelling user experiences by applying design thinking methodologies to solve complex product challenges. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams to translate user needs and business requirements into thoughtful design solutions. The UX Designer contributes to all phases of the product development lifecycle, from research and ideation to implementation and refinement.

Role Responsibilities

  • Design user-centered experiences across multiple platforms, balancing usability with visual aesthetics
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions and validate solutions
  • Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that effectively communicate design intent
  • Collaborate with product managers to understand requirements and engineers to ensure feasible implementation
  • Apply and contribute to design systems while maintaining consistency across products
  • Identify opportunities for product improvements through user insights and analytics
  • Present design concepts clearly, articulating rationale and incorporating feedback iteratively
  • Stay current with emerging UX trends, tools, and methodologies

Role Requirements

  • 2-3 years of UX design experience in product-focused environments
  • Proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, etc.)
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating problem-solving skills and design process
  • Experience conducting user research and applying insights to design decisions
  • Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design principles
  • Familiarity with design systems and component-based design approaches
  • Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) beneficial but not required
  • Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or related field; equivalent experience considered

Salary

The base salary range is $60,000-$90,000 per year, total on target compensation includes a base salary plus short-term incentives that align with individual and company performance.

As a Product Manager, you will play a key role in shaping the future of ChiroTouch, our cloud-based practice management platform. You’ll work closely with customers and cross-functional partners to define and deliver solutions that help practices operate efficiently and grow sustainably.

This role is ideal for a proactive product leader with strong execution skills and a passion for solving complex problems. You’ll manage multiple initiatives in parallel, collaborating with engineering, design, QA, and go-to-market teams to bring high-impact features to life.

Your Areas Of Accountability

Product Strategy & Roadmap

  • Define and maintain a compelling product roadmap aligned to business goals and customer needs

Competencies For Success

  • 3+ years of experience in software product management
  • Proven ability to define product vision, lead cross-functional teams, and deliver high-quality software
  • Strong customer empathy and the ability to translate user needs into actionable solutions
  • Experience working with APIs and/or strategic technology partnerships
  • Clear, concise communication skills—comfortable engaging stakeholders at all levels
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate trade-offs and make data-informed decisions
  • Experience in EHR, practice management, or medical billing is a plus
  • Ability to lead and work autonomously

At PracticeTek, we carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors to determine our offers of employment. This includes internal and external market factors as well as your individual experience and skills. These considerations can cause compensation to vary but we reasonably expect to pay between $64,350 - $125,000 for this position.

Many security tools are confusing, overwhelming, or lack transparency. They lose people at the exact moment they need support or never reach them at all. At Kanary, we see design as a bridge that makes the complex feel simple, the experience feel safe, and the next steps feel obvious.

This work isn’t about technical controls and status updates. It’s about clarity, trust, and meeting people where they are. We move quickly, test early, and keep things simple with room for creativity.

Your day to day:

  • Build and maintain a flexible design system, create components from scratch and clarify existing patterns across web, mobile, email, and marketing to accelerate learning
  • Review user session recordings, error states, and churn patterns to test the impact of new features, notifications, onboarding flows, or copy

  • Strong experience implementing and using value-based pricing concepts and practices. Additional pricing training, such as a Certified Pricing Professional certificate or Pragmatic Institute pricing training a plus.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a matrixed organization.
  • Advanced knowledge, experience, and understanding of financial analysis and modeling.
  • Strong technical skills, particularly Excel. Experience as a power user of Tableau, Power BI or similar analytics software

Compensation

This role will receive a competitive base salary + benefits + equity. A variety of factors are considered when determining someone’s compensation–including a candidate’s professional background, experience, and location. Final offer amounts may vary from the amounts listed below.

Qualifications & Skills

This is a Hybrid position. We work in the office three days a week. Our office is in downtown Seattle.

The compensation range for this role is $156,530 to $165,230. We also offer significant stock options, comprehensive benefits, a bonus plan, commuter benefits, and a very desirable office with complimentary drinks and food options.
