We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Game Operations Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the operational aspects of our game, ensuring a smooth, engaging, and optimized experience for our players. You will work closely with various teams, including production, development, and data analytics, to support the game's launch, live operations, and long-term success.

What You'll Do:

  • Manage and optimize the live operations of the game, ensuring smooth daily functionality and player engagement.
  • Oversee in-game events, content releases, seasonal updates, and monetization strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., product, design, engineering, analytics) to define and implement key operational goals.
  • Analyze data and KPIs to identify trends, troubleshoot issues, and suggest improvements for gameplay, player retention, and monetization.
  • Collaborate with the management of community and player feedback, addressing issues, providing updates, and ensuring that player satisfaction is consistently maintained.
  • Develop and maintain operational processes, workflows, and best practices to streamline game ops production.
  • Work with customer support to ensure timely and effective resolution of player issues and concerns.
  • Act as a liaison between the live operations team and senior leadership, providing regular reports and updates on the game’s performance.
  • Drive incident management and troubleshooting for critical issues, working with the development team to resolve them as quickly as possible.
  • Manage the deployment of in-game content, ensuring it is done seamlessly with minimal disruption to players.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in game operations, live ops, or related roles within the gaming industry
  • Proven track record of managing live game operations, including event planning, content updates, and player engagement strategies.
  • Strong understanding of free-to-play (F2P) game economies, monetization strategies, and player retention best practices.
  • Exceptional data analysis skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Experience in working with cross-functional teams and coordinating with product, design, engineering, and customer support teams.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle high-pressure situations effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Familiarity with industry tools and platforms for game management, analytics, and content deployment.
  • A passion for games and a deep understanding of player behavior.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong skills in mathematics, economics, business, analytics, or related fields.

The estimated base salary range for this role is $168,000 - $210,000. What We're Looking For

  • At least 4 years’ experience administrating Finance Systems
  • Proven development knowledge of working with IBM Planning Analytics utilizing Turbo Integrator processes and best practices in developing models
  • Good understanding of IBM Planning Analytics architecture, writing business rules using skip checks and feeders
  • Technical experience writing SQL queries and ETL/scheduling tools

  • Prepare for and support future multi-cloud adoption (AWS and Azure).

Product Madness is searching for a QA Lead who will be responsible for fronting the quality of our mobile applications. You will work with both internal and external global teams to support regular feature, content and technical releases from concept through to launch, all the while retaining the utmost levels of quality using a variety of tools and processes.

What You'll Do

  • Drive the creation, maintenance, and implementation of dedicated test suites and associated test cases
  • Lead by example through hands-on testing, and review other testers’ reports while maintaining a tidy and prioritized backlog in coordination with the Producer
  • Keep the project team & business stakeholders up to date with project QA reports on milestone progression, priorities, and blockers
  • Ensure your respective project is released to the highest quality, both in terms of defect mitigation and usability experience
  • Work closely with Customer Support to investigate, document, and, where necessary, push for swift resolution of Live issues, understanding where potential gaps existed and plugging these for future circumstances
  • Support in the training and mentoring of more junior members of the team, including those based offshore
  • Aligning with the Mobile QA Manager's vision, standardize QA processes with other projects, providing feedback and suggestions to better them where necessary
  • Work with the Mobile QA Manager and Technical Test Manager to help support the incorporation and movement toward automated tests, using this to strengthen test efficiency
  • Provide release reports, test plans and various other documentation to key stakeholders
  • Monitor app health regularly via tools such as New Relic, flagging and investigating concerning trends where applicable
  • Work alongside the Technical Test Manager to capture monthly Technical KPI data to be discussed with the project team
  • Support the Mobile QA Manager in attaining the team’s financial year goals through ownership and tracking of personal KPOs / OKRs
  • Good knowledge in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Test Life Cycle (STLC))

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in a quality assurance role
  • Exceptional leadership skills with proven experience
  • Strong verbal/written communication & an excellent attention to detail
  • Strong time management, accountability, and organizational skills
  • An ability to negotiate and ensure your and your team's message is heard, whilst also understanding business needs and balancing
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, and self-motivated
  • A strong commercial awareness with an understanding of business priorities and goals
  • Exceptional reporting capabilities
  • Extensive knowledge of JIRA and/or similar bug tracking tools
  • A sound understanding of Charles, Postman, or similar tools to aid with test coverage
  • Knowledge of Data Science and proven record in using this to better processes
  • Knowledge of submission workflows for mobile applications (Apple/GooglePlay/Amazon)
  • Extensive experience in test suite creation and maintenance
