Whip Media is seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Solution Engineer located in the Los Angeles, CA area to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will be the technical anchor throughout the customer journey, from initial engagement through successful implementation and ongoing adoption. You will leverage your deep understanding of our platform and the media & entertainment industry to translate complex client needs into compelling technical solutions, ensuring our customers maximize the value they derive from Whip Media's cutting-edge products.

This role is distinct from our internal Product team's Solution Architect role, focusing on the customer-facing technical sales and post-sales enablement.

What You'll Do

Presales & Technical Discovery:

  • Technical Demonstrations: Deliver compelling, tailored product demonstrations of Whip Media's platform to prospective clients, showcasing key features and workflows relevant to their specific business challenges.
  • Discovery & Qualification: Conduct in-depth technical discovery sessions with prospects to understand their current state, pain points, technical environment, data structures, and desired future state.
  • Solution Scoping: Collaborate with the Sales team to define and scope technical solutions that address identified client needs, outlining system integrations, data migration strategies, and potential customization requirements.
  • Technical Point of Contact: Act as the primary technical point of contact for prospects during the sales cycle, addressing technical questions, security inquiries, and infrastructure considerations.
  • RFP/RFI Support: Provide technical expertise and contribute content to responses for RFPs (Request for Proposals) and RFIs (Request for Information).

Solution Design & Strategy

  • Architecture Review (External Focus): Work with customer technical teams to align Whip Media's proposed solution with their existing architecture and technical requirements.
  • Proof-of-Concept (POC) / Pilot Support: Lead or support technical aspects of POCs and pilot programs, ensuring successful evaluation and validation of the solution.
  • Feedback Loop: Capture and relay customer feedback, market trends, and technical requirements to internal Product and Engineering teams to inform future product development.

Post-Sales Implementation & Enablement

  • Technical Onboarding & Configuration: Assist customers with initial technical onboarding, platform configuration, and data integration activities post-sale, ensuring a smooth transition.
  • Technical Training: Develop and deliver technical training sessions to customer teams (e.g., IT, operations, data teams) on platform usage, APIs, data ingestion, and best practices.
  • Technical Advisory: Provide ongoing technical guidance and best practices to customers during their initial adoption phase.
  • Troubleshooting Support: Serve as an escalation point for complex technical issues during initial implementation, working closely with Customer Success and Support teams to drive resolution.

Requirements

What You'll Bring:

  • Must reside in the Los Angeles, CA area due to the travel requirements for this role.
  • 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role such as Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, Technical Consultant, or similar, preferably within a SaaS company. Customer facing experience is required.
  • Proven experience delivering compelling technical product demonstrations to diverse audiences, including technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of API integrations (REST, SOAP), data formats (XML, JSON), and data integration methodologies.
  • Familiarity with database concepts (SQL, NoSQL) and data migration strategies.
  • Solid grasp of cloud computing concepts (AWS, Azure, GCP) and practical hands-on experience with B2B SaaS architecture and implementations.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and business audiences.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a consultative approach to understanding customer challenges.
  • Ability to lead a techno-functional team and manage work streams for multiple concurrent Customer rollouts. 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Travel may be required within the LA area (up to 30%) for client meetings, conferences, etc.

  • Direct experience in the Media & Entertainment industry (e.g., content distribution, licensing, rights management, broadcast, streaming).

Education

What You'll Do

  • Self-prospecting to build a strong sales pipeline of new logos, striving to exceed quarterly and annual sales targets, as well as partnering with the Marketing and SDR teams to generate meetings
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (especially Sales Ops and Sales Engineers) to ensure sales effectiveness

What You'll Do

  • Highly creative, with exceptional design and layout skills.  Contributes at all levels of the art production pipeline, from conceptualizing game designs to final game art, providing multiple creative solutions throughout. Compensation

The estimated base salary range for this role is $171,000 - $214,000. We are on the lookout for a Legal Counsel, Employment Law (Individual Labor Law) to join the Employment Law & Employee Relations Team on our journey to always deliver amazing experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise HR Business Partners, People Operations, and leadership on all matters of individual employment law in Germany, including employment contracts, disciplinary processes, terminations, performance issues, compensation, and working time matters.
  • Provide hands-on support in day-to-day legal issues affecting employees, managers, and the People team — with a strong focus on solutions, compliance, and consistency across cases.
  • Draft and review employment-related documents, such as contracts, side letters, termination letters, settlement agreements, and templates.
  • Support pre-litigation strategy and ongoing legal disputes involving individual employees (e.g., unfair dismissal claims), including coordination with external counsel where needed.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders including HR, Legal, Data Privacy, and Compliance to ensure legally compliant and scalable practices.

What you need to be successful

  • Fully qualified lawyer in Germany (Zweites Staatsexamen), with a strong focus on German individual labor law.
  • At least three years of post-qualification experience, ideally gained in an international company or leading law firm.
  • Deep knowledge of German employment law, especially in the areas of contract law, termination law, working time, and employer obligations; comfortable representing the company in labor court proceedings, often in collaboration with external counsel.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Develop and fix new and existing software within time and scope of the integration.

· 2+ years of experience in .NET Framework – MVC, Web API, Entity Framework

· Proficient knowledge of the .NET 6 framework and experience in developing and leading high-performance applications using C#.

· Experience in creating applications based on Domain-Driven Development (DDD) or similar, focusing on the primary business domain to address business requirements.

· Understanding the Facilitator Framework: Skilled in applying it to promote communication and minimize interdependence.

· Knowledge of CQRS (Command Query Responsibility Segregation): Basic understanding of CQRS principles to separate read and write operations, helping to improve application scalability and organization.

· Good understanding of best coding practices

· Experience in MS-SQL Server

· Basic knowledge in front-end development with HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, Angular

Zakres obowiązków

  • Udział w analizie i przeglądzie wymagań w celu określenia potrzeb testowych.
  • Tworzenie i wykonywanie testów funkcjonalnych oraz regresyjnych w celu zapewnienia jakości oprogramowania.
  • Współpraca z zespołami deweloperskimi, innymi specjalistami QA oraz kadrą zarządzającą w celu skutecznego wdrażania strategii testowych.
  • Opracowywanie pełnej dokumentacji testowej, w tym przypadków testowych i checklist.
  • Zarządzanie defektami: analiza, raportowanie i śledzenie do momentu rozwiązania.
  • Testowanie aplikacji webowych i typu client/server, zapewniając ich wysoką jakość i niezawodność.
  • Praca z REST API oraz tworzenie zapytań SQL wspierających proces testowania.
  • Pisanie przejrzystych scenariuszy testowych i dokumentacji wspierającej proces rozwoju oprogramowania.

Nasze oczekiwania

  • Minimum 4 lata doświadczenia w manualnym testowaniu QA.
  • Dobra znajomość cyklu życia oprogramowania (SDLC) oraz architektury mikroserwisów.
  • Wysokie umiejętności analityczne i krytycznego myślenia.
  • Doświadczenie w testowaniu po stronie klient-serwer z użyciem narzędzi takich jak Postman, Swagger lub podobnych.
  • Znajomość testowania GRPC i SOA.
  • Biegłość w testach po stronie bazy danych oraz pracy z logami w celu analizy i rozwiązywania problemów.
  • Doświadczenie w testowaniu mobilnych przeglądarek i natywnych aplikacji mobilnych (Android/iOS).
  • Bardzo dobre umiejętności w zakresie identyfikowania przyczyn źródłowych defektów.
  • Umiejętność precyzyjnego i zwięzłego opisywania problemów.
  • Nastawienie na dostarczanie wyników o wysokiej jakości.
  • Wysokie kompetencje społeczne, umożliwiające skuteczną współpracę z różnymi członkami zespołu.
  • Doświadczenie w automatyzacji testów będzie dodatkowym atutem.

Ta rola podlega obowiązkowej weryfikacji przeszłości oraz zatwierdzeniom regulacyjnym.
