We’re looking for an experienced Support Manager who will be responsible for our team aligned to the Central or Eastern (Americas) timezones. In this role, you'll support a Global Support team, and report to the Senior Manager of Global Support.

As a Manager in the Global Support organization, you play a critical role in both the day-to-day excellence and long-term evolution of how we support our customers at Zapier. You'll lead and mentor a team of Individual Contributors (with future potential to manage Team Leads), ensuring the delivery of world-class support and a consistently positive customer experience. This role requires a strong focus on performance management, cross-functional collaboration, and strategic contributions that align with both departmental and company-wide goals. At the core, you bring a deep sense of customer centricity—consistently putting the customer’s needs at the center of your decisions and advocating for what’s best for them. You genuinely enjoy working with our users directly and aren’t afraid to jump in—whether it’s through hands-on support, or solving issues side by side with your team. You thrive on making things easier, faster, and more impactful for our customers every day. 

You are not only accountable for results—but for shaping how we get there. You’ll apply a strategic mindset to how your team operates, continuously identifying opportunities to improve customer experience, influence process efficiency, and evolve Support’s role as a value driver across the business.

Your leadership approach should combine clear performance expectations with a growth-forward mindset—developing team members through regular coaching, supporting their long-term career progression, and highlighting and celebrating meaningful impact. You’ll hold space for your team to thrive, while consistently raising the bar.

Cross-functional collaboration is critical, and you’ll build strong relationships across Product, Sales, Engineering, and Support Operations to proactively unblock issues, raise insights, and ensure Support is delivering at a high level. You’ll also lead and support key departmental projects, and consistently bring forward new ideas that align with Zapier’s strategic bets and our vision for fast and accurate support.

Above all, you’ll be a visible and engaged leader—balancing team coaching, customer insight, and strategic execution to ensure your team is set up to deliver exceptional results.

You’ve used AI tooling for work or personal use—or you are willing to dive in and learn fast. You explore new tools, workflows, and ideas to make things more efficient, and are eager to deepen your understanding of AI and use it regularly.

Key Responsibilities

------------------------

As a manager, your ability to adapt and allocate time effectively to different areas will be critical to your success and the success of your team.

  • Team performance: Leading and mentoring your team to provide exceptional support, with a focus on high performance and team member development. This includes coaching, performance tracking, conducting regular one-on-one sessions, and fostering a positive team culture.
  • Customer Connection: Spending a minimum of 2 hours in customer facing queues each week to maintain product knowledge and hear from customers directly, ensuring you stay connected to the customer experience.
  • Operational excellence: Ensuring smooth operations and collaborating with other teams (such as Support Operations and Engineering). This involves optimizing processes and making sure your team is appropriately trained and following best practices.
  • Evolving Support as a business operator/owner: Driving and overseeing support projects aligned with company goals and strategy, and evolving your team’s workflows as Support scales. This includes planning, coordination, and ensuring high-quality deliverables on strategic projects.
  • Company strategy and business awareness: Understanding the company’s strategy and how your team’s efforts contribute to the overall mission. Keeping your team aligned with company goals and providing relevant updates and guidance as business priorities evolve.
  • Communication, Collaboration & Change Management: Building strong relationships with stakeholders and promoting a “first team” approach to problem-solving. Hosting team meetings, encouraging feedback and participation, and effectively leading your team through change initiatives.
  • Leader accountability & growth: Set aside time to track your impact, seek feedback, and regularly reflect on how you’re showing up as a leader. Demonstrate follow-through on your goals and actively develop your leadership craft.
  • Diversity, Inclusion, Belonging and Equity (DIBE): Promoting a diverse and inclusive team culture. Ensuring equitable opportunities for all team members and actively fostering a sense of belonging on your team.

We’re looking for an experienced Enterprise Account Executive to join our founding Upmarket Sales team.

In this role, you’ll join the Enterprise Sales team and be responsible for selling Zapier’s Automation platform offerings to customers across the globe. A successful Account Executive has demonstrated success selling to companies with employee counts between 1K-5K, can build pipeline through both inbound and outbound channels, can successfully sell to both executive buyers of Zapier and technical end users of the product, works collaboratively with cross functional teams (Product Marketing, Engineering, Demand Generation, RevOps, etc), and takes ownership for the outcomes of the program.

About You

  • You have 5+ years of demonstrated success in selling horizontal SaaS solutions to multi-stakeholder or technical organizations at the mid-market level, with a strong focus on automation, integrations, and enhancing tech stack efficiency.
  • Proven track record of success in closing enterprise-level software deals over $100K and meeting or exceeding your sales quota
  • Strong understanding of APIs, integrations, and tools like Zapier, with the ability to explain their importance in modern tech ecosystems.
  • You're naturally curious about AI and regularly experiment with different AI tools to drive efficiency in your day-to-day work or personal life.
  • Demonstrated ability to discuss IT concerns, including security, scalability, compliance, and performance, in a credible and knowledgeable manner.
  • Excellent communication skills both with customers and within an organization
  • Ability to develop and navigate senior-level relationships quickly and effectively
  • You thrive in a state of ambiguity and are motivated by strong personal drive

In this role, you’ll join the Core sales team and be responsible for selling Zapier’s Automation platform offerings to customers across the globe. A successful Account Executive has demonstrated success selling outbound to companies with under 250 employees and inbound to companies with 250+ employees.   • Level up reliability for our modern data stack – Help support and evolve our data platforms (including Databricks, Airflow and our LLMOps tooling) with reliability best practices and clear operational standards.
  • Improve observability and alerting – Partner with engineering teams to implement monitoring and alerting that supports ownership, reduces noise, and improves incident response metrics like MTTD (Mean Time to Detect) and MTTR (Mean Time to Resolve).
  • Automate and optimize operations – Build and maintain infrastructure-as-code, job orchestration logic, and internal tooling that reduce manual intervention and improve system resilience.
  • Participate in on-call and incident response – Share in our on-call rotation (~one week per quarter) and work alongside others to improve postmortems, retrospectives, and mitigation strategies.

About You

  • You have 7+ years of experience working with Machine Learning (ML) in production (with at least 1-2 years experience specific to Large Language Models (LLM)). You have experience writing clean Python code with reproducible results. You have knowledge of ML/LLM data structures and modeling, software architecture, libraries and frameworks to create models that sufficiently meet the needs of project goals.
  • You combine your strong applied ML/LLM knowledge with statistical expertise (e.g. confidence intervals, regression modeling, significance testing). This includes demonstrated experience with common ML techniques for deep data mining and exploration (e.g. predictive modeling, time series modeling, classification, and clustering techniques).  Understand how to determine the right machine learning algorithms for a given task and evaluate their performance, including understanding the trade-offs between different models and selecting the most suitable one based on the data and problem at hand.
  • You have a strong understanding of how LLMs and ML models succeed in a production environment. You have experience developing and improving upon evaluation frameworks for LLMs which focus on performance, reliability, and bias assessment/mitigation. You have extensive experience working with user data to engineer features for models, select appropriate model architectures, tune model parameters, and evaluate model quality. You have familiarity with fine-tuning models to achieve their maximum performance, i.e. optimizing hyperparameters, handling overfitting, A/B testing, and improving the efficiency of algorithms.
  • You’re familiar with various prompt techniques for LLM grounding such as chain-of-thought, static few-shot examples, and dynamic few-shot. You’re familiar with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (‘RAG’) systems. You have an understanding of how to optimize knowledge retrieval for improved model accuracy and speed.  You can apply your knowledge of different indexing/chunking strategies on the data to achieve desired goals. You understand semantic search and vector databases, and how they differ from classic retrieval methods and databases. Experience with reranking and knowledge graphs is a plus.
  • You have a strong engineering sense. You’re familiar with automating ModelOps/DataOps processes which include creating pipelines and understand how CI/CD processes work.  You’re a stellar data wrangler and have experience cleaning and structuring data for modeling purposes.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Production Team. In this role, you will collaborate with stakeholders, senior leadership, and cross-functional teams to align Aristocrat’s strategic objectives with Product Madness’s project portfolio.
