Seeking a motivated Industrial Engineer to optimize warehouse layouts, slotting strategies, and handling systems. This role is crucial for improving operational efficiency, supporting fulfillment perfection, and driving continuous improvement across our warehouse network globally. The role operates with a high degree of autonomy, demonstrating good judgment and maturity in decision-making across complex and ambiguous situations. The successful candidate will communicate confidently with senior leadership, influencing strategic direction and driving alignment across multi-functional teams.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and maintain optimized warehouse layouts using AutoCAD, ensuring logical flow, space utilization, and process efficiency. Develop and establish VMI (Vendor managed inventory) principles for incorporation into warehouse construction and practices.
  • Develop and audit slotting plans based on ABC classification and usage data. Maintain accurate PFEP (Plan for Every Part) documentation.
  • Recommend and implement appropriate storage and handling solutions including pallet racking, storage containers, conveyors, forklifts, wrappers, VLMs, and other automation technologies.
  • Develop current and future-state value stream maps (VSMs) to identify improvement opportunities and quantify operational savings.
  • Collaborate with IT and Enterprise Applications teams to evaluate, select, and implement Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). Collaborate with operations team for implementation of WMS processes
  • Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and guidelines in warehouse construction and operations.
  • Possible travel to U.S.-based warehouse sites for project implementation, audits, and collaborator involvement.
  • Create work instructions and train the trainer and other frontline staff as need for responsible areas as assigned

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD for creating factory layouts.
  • Experience with ERP or WMS systems applicable to inventory management and storage strategies. Microsoft Dynamics preferred
  • Strong command of Lean Six Sigma, MODAPTS, DFM/DFA, and time/motion study.
  • Knowledge of Kanban, JIT, pull systems, and material replenishment strategies.
  • Understanding of ergonomics, OSHA standards, golden zone definition, and safety risk assessments for warehousing pack/ship operations, equipment travel, and other functional work areas.
  • Experience supporting NPI launches with experience in PFEP, space planning etc
  • Familiarity with ISTA standards, NFPA-13 regulations as applicable to warehouse racks, and high pile storage
  • Bachelor’s or equivalent experience in industrial engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering.
  • 5+ years of industrial engineering experience in automotive, heavy machinery, industrial electronics manufacturing & assembly or 3PL warehouses.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven experience in at least one full warehouse design project and/or launch support for NPI

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Possessing a Master’s degree in the field of industrial engineering and having 3 years of relevant work experience qualifies for consideration.
  • · Packaging design/sustainable packaging experience will be an added plus.
  • · Experience with digital manufacturing, smart factory concepts, and sustainability initiatives.
  • · Knowledge of ISO 14001, ESG reporting, and green manufacturing principles.

What You'll Do:

  • Analyze production data and implement time and line balancing to optimize efficiency and reduce cycle time.
  • Work closely with product formulation, quality, and supply chain teams to guarantee manufacturability and readiness for launch.
  • Develop detailed work instructions, process maps, and visual aids using AutoCAD, Visio, and SolidWorks tailored for an assembly setup.
  • Develop and maintain PFMEA, control plans, and standardized work documentation aligned with ISO requirements.

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent background in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering.
  • Minimum 5+ years of industrial engineering experience in an automotive, heavy machinery, industrial electronics manufacturing & assembly environment.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven experience in at least one full product launch and/or one full lean implementation program.

Preferred Qualifications:

The initial annual base salary range for this role is expected to be between $150,000 - $170,000. What We're Looking For

Required

  • Valid Australian driver’s licence.
  • Ability to acquire and maintain relevant state/territory gaming licenses (support provided by Aristocrat).
  • Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and fault-finding capabilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and customer service attitude.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently across multiple customer sites.
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to handle time, tasks, and service schedules.
  • Proficient in using mobile devices and field service applications for reporting.

Summary

We are seeking a Solutions Architect to join the Architecture as a Service (AaaS) team within our central Solutions function. In this role, you will design robust, scalable, secure, and reliable full-stack solutions across diverse projects, while upholding the technical standards necessary for platform performance, compliance, and sustainability. Your ability to provide well-founded recommendations, grounded in sound engineering principles and data-driven insights, will be essential. 

As part of the Service team, you will collaborate with multiple Development teams across the organisation, contributing to various products. Success in this role requires proactive engagement, strong communication skills, and an approachable demeanor. Roles and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with collaborators, Technical Product Owners, and development teams to define and detail the system's architecture. 

• Ability to translate business requirements into clear designs and technical requirements covering all aspects of a full-stack Solution. 

• Produce solutions that can be delivered incrementally and thoroughly testable. 

• Create detailed diagrams to communicate system architecture, behaviors and interactions (e.g., sequence diagrams, activity diagrams and high-level designs). 

• Work collaboratively within a team of architects, sharing knowledge and providing constructive feedback. 

• Adhere to regulations, standards, and guidelines while providing valuable feedback on internal governance and processes. 

• Document and maintain Architecture Decision Records (ADRs) to capture significant architectural decisions, including the context, options considered, decision rationale, and outcomes. 

• Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, frameworks, and tools to meet the needs of our solutions. 

• Work closely with engineering teams to provide technical guidance and ensure the implementation of designs aligns with architectural specifications. 

• Identify and address technical risks, challenges, and dependencies in the architecture and design process. 

• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends and apply this knowledge to continuously improve our architecture and solutions. 

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience as a Solution/Software Architect specializing in web technologies.
  • Experience with system modelling tools and diagrams (e.g., C4, UML).
  • Practical development experience in web application development.
  • Proficient in software architecture principles, patterns, and standard processes.
  • Knowledge of how to incorporate design concepts into software development.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and cloud-native architectures.
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture, API design, and integration patterns.
  • Knowledge of event-driven architecture and messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ, PubSub).
  • Familiarity with OpenAPI and AsyncAPI for defining APIs, and exercising the APIs through appropriate tools (e.g., Postman).
  • Knowledge of data modeling, databases (SQL and NoSQL), and database normalisation.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical collaborators.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically about technology solutions.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience in the gaming industry, particularly in developing or supporting SaaS solutions.
  • Experience within the Mobile Application development industry and a deep understanding of the inherent challenges.
  • Knowledge of real-time systems, multiplayer game architectures, and player data analytics.
